ABI has long experience, knowledge and skills in holiday home design and manufacture coupled with knowledge of what customers want and expertise in providing it.
In 1972, following a merger between Ace Caravan Company Limited (touring caravans) and Belmont Caravans Limited (leisure homes), Ace Belmont International began trading as ABI.
In 2001 Mel Copper was appointed Chief Executive and in 2004 the ABI management team successfully completed a £20m management buy-out. The company were thrilled that the Moderna, launched that year, won the Caravan Industry & Park Operator 2004 Caravan Holiday Home of the Year. Due to increasing demand for the new ABI ranges, a second production line was brought into operation the same year.
2005 marked the date of a second significant award when the ABI Westwood won the coveted Holiday Home of the Year Award, awarded by the Caravan Industry.
The 2008 ABI Holiday Home Collection is the best ever: innovative designs and meticulous craftsmanship create the most comfortable and practical family holiday homes.
