Six fun activities for the six-week holidays!

28th July 2014

The summer holidays are here at last – six weeks waiting to be filled with fun and spent creating holiday memories! Here are our top six ideas to help you enjoy them to the full…

 1. Visit your Holiday Home lots
Six weeks can feel like a long time, and is best when broken up by frequent visits to your ABI Static Caravan!

 2. Oh, we do like to be beside the seaside!
There is so much to do at the seaside, whether you’re having a splash in the sea, playing on the amusements or enjoying a picnic whilst trying to keep the sand out of your sandwiches! This makes it a day out you can enjoy again and again over the six-week break.

3. Get the kids up early to watch the sunrise
If your kids are the sort who like to get up early, take advantage by going on a walk in the early morning sun, and enjoy a magical moment your family will remember for a long time to come.

 4. Host a teddy bears picnic
All children enjoy a teddy bears picnic, especially when there are teddy bear treats to be eaten! Make gingerbread men shaped into a bear, or fairy cakes decorated with bear faces. And, don’t forget the gummy bears!

 5. Have a #ThrowbackThursday day!
If you follow us on Facebook or Twitter, you will have seen our retro caravan and holiday pictures – get inspired and have your own retro day – including vintage board games and retro sweets! It is a great way to teach your kids what the summer holidays were like when you were younger (and give everyone a day off from mobile phones and tablets)!

6. Use the ABI Kids’ Zone for Activity Inspiration
We’ve created a Kids’ Zone on our site which you can find here. It’s filled with activities and puzzles for rainy days or car journeys – and if you send us completed puzzles or drawing your little ones might even feature in our Kids’ Zone Gallery!
