Celebrate Father’s Day this Sunday

Father’s Day is all about thanking the special men in your life.

Do not worry if you are having a tough time deciding what to do for Father’s Day, we
have 5 fantastic activities for you to try this coming Sunday 💙

Bake Father’s Day Treats

Baking is something fun to do that all your family can enjoy! So, clear your counter,
find your Dad’s favourite recipe and get your aprons on 🧑🍳

Every ABI is equipped with all the tools you will need to make your showstopper.
There are hundreds of different recipes you can make, such as: Victoria sponge cake,
brownies, fairy cakes, cookies, lemon sponge and Bakewell tarts 🍰

Do His Favourite Activity

There are so many different activities you can enjoy on Father’s Day.

Why not go for a long walk with the dogs, go fishing, fly a kite, look through your
family tree or have a game of golf ⛳

What a wonderful way to celebrate the special men in your life and make memories
that last forever.

Give Gifts

You don’t have to spend a lot of money when buying gifts/cards for Father’s Day; the
thought really does matter.

Get imaginative and try some personalised paper coasters, homemade cards,
personalising a photo frame, making a scrap book full of memories, or painting a
rock you’ve found outside to be used as a paperweight. Homemade presents can
really mean the most to someone when it’s from the people they love 🤗

Father’s Day Games Night

Board games are the perfect way to bring the family together, whilst seeing
everyone’s competitive side come out to play 😎

There are so many board games you could play in your ABI, including Snakes and
Ladders, Twister, Monopoly, Frustration or even Jenga. Our favourite board game is
‘Guess Who?’. What’s yours? 🥇

Family Meal

Take your loved one for a meal; either at your holiday home, to a local restaurant or a
takeaway in your local park.

Spending time with your family members creates memories which will last a lifetime
🍕

We also appreciate that Father’s Day may be difficult for those people who are still
grieving the loss of their Dad but there are still ways of honouring their memory on
the special day by doing some of the below:

● Lighting a candle to remember them
● Playing their favourite song
● Raising a glass in their honour
● Sharing memories or looking at photographs

We would love to see what you do on Father’s Day. Please make sure to tag us on our
Facebook, Instagram and Twitter 😊
